Anlässlich des 1.000. Todestages von Kaiser Heinrich II. 2024 feiern Stadt und Bistum Bamberg das Heinrichsjubiläum. Einer der Höhepunkte des Programms zu diesem Jahr wird die Ausstellung "Vor 1.000 Jahren" im Historischen Museum Bamberg in der Alten Hofhaltung sein. Die Sonderausstellung legt den Fokus nicht ausschließlich auf den Kaiser, sondern ebenfalls auf seine Frau Kunigunde und das Leben der Menschen in dieser Zeit.

The 1000th anniversary of the death of Emperor Henry II has instigated celebrations throughout the city and archbishopric of Bamberg . A high point in the commemorative programme is the exhibition “1000 Years Ago” at Bamberg Historical Museum in the Alte Hofhaltung – a special exhibition that does not focus exclusively on the emperor, but takes equal account of Empress Cunigunde and the people around her at that time.
