This study investigates Garrick Sokari Idikatima Braide, a prominent figure in the evangelization of the Niger Delta area of Nigeria. It focuses on his revival movement and its impact on the mainline churches. In addition, it discusses the reasons for the mass conversions of the Igbo to Christianity and the African origin of Pentecostalism.
