The five catalogue volumes offer detailed descriptions of over 9,500 cradle prints in 17,400 copies. Two index volumes facilitate access: Volume 6 contains a multi-part printer's index in which all incunabula are arranged in chronological order according to printing places and officines. Finding descriptions in the catalogue is facilitated by concordances to important bibliographical reference works. The corrigenda offer new insights into numerous descriptions. Volume 7 contains the index of literary contributors and other persons involved as well as previous owners with biographical notes. An index of bookbinding workshops makes the historical book bindings accessible.
