The series provides a forum for treatises by scholars of African origin. Firmly rooted in theology, their works cover a wide range of topics. There are scholarly interpretations of the Bible, as well studies on the reconciliation of Christian theology and African tradition or the role of religious education in nation-building; works on the state of the church in Nigeria today as well as studies of poverty and human rights in the light of globalization.
