In 1892, churches founded through the acitivities of the »Hermannsburger Mission« became independent churches. They merged into »Free Evangelical-Lutheran Synod in South Africa« (FELSISA). This book offers documents of the history of that church, ranging from personal letters of the early settlers to official statements. An appendix lists all FELSISA ministers. Pictures range from historical buildings to those currently serving the church in parish ministry.
