In recent years, methods for the consideration of impacts of land use on the environment have successfully been developed and applied in Life Cycle Assessment. In order to enhance their accessibility, the availability of characterization factors is crucial. Country and land use type specific characterization factors representing impacts on ecosystem services calculated with LANCA are presented for the integration into Life Cycle Impact Assessment.
