The linguae & litterae series, edited by Peter Auer, Gesa von Essen and Werner Frick, documents the research activities of the School of Language and Literature of the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS). These research activities in literary studies and linguistics are characterized by an approach that is theoretically and methodologically “state of the art” and interdisciplinarily open. In linguistics the accent is on the corpus-based, quantitative and qualitative investigation of language; in literary studies the focus is on the comparative, transdisciplinary analysis of literary phenomena in their cultural contexts. At the same time the series deals with the productive interfaces and synergies between modern linguistics and literary studies (as well as the humanities, social and natural sciences with which they interact). It seeks a new, contemporary reformulation of the humanities research curriculum and its problem and concept orientation for the future. The series has a clear international orientation - each volume is multilingual, containing German, English and French contributions and, depending on the volume, articles in Italian or Spanish as well. Each individual volume is peer reviewed by an international editorial board. Each year 2-4 volumes are published.

Die Buchreihe Mimesis präsentiert unter ihrem neuen Untertitel Romanische Literaturen der Welt ein innovatives und integrales Verständnis der Romania wie der Romanistik. Sie trägt der Tatsache Rechnung, dass die faszinierende Entwicklung der romanischen Literaturen und Kulturen in Europa wie außerhalb Europas weltweite Dynamiken in Gang gesetzt hat, welche die großen Traditionen der Romania auf neue Horizonte hin öffnen. Mimesis zeigt auf, wie die dargestellte Wirklichkeit im Archipel der romanischen Literaturen die Tür zu einem vielsprachigen Kosmos verschiedenartiger Logiken öffnet. Die Publikationssprachen sind Deutsch, Französisch, Spanisch, Italienisch und Englisch.

Today’s spectrum of research in literary studies is characterized by a sense of openness to the methods of comparative literature and cultural studies, along with a wide range of interdisciplinary crossover. The spectrum Literaturwissenschaft series is intended to be a forum for this pluralistic new model of literary studies. It presents papers that are informed by methodologically innovative, frequently comparative approaches, and whose findings are of importance well beyond the narrow boundaries of national philological horizons.

Während des Studiums und zu Beginn der Tätigkeit als Spanischlehrkraft erscheinen die vielfältigen Elemente rund um die Vorbereitung und Durchführung des Spanischunterrichts bisweilen unüberschaubar, abstrakt und unstrukturiert. Das vorliegende Werk bietet einen leicht verständlichen einführenden Überblick über die verschiedenen Bausteine der Spanischdidaktik und ihre Verknüpfungen untereinander. Dabei werden die theoretisch-wissenschaftlichen Hintergründe mit konkret-schulpraktischen Überlegungen verbunden. Zusammenfassungen der wichtigsten Inhalte und ein umfängliches Register ermöglichen eine schnelle Orientierung über das Inhaltsverzeichnis hinaus. Literaturempfehlungen und eine Übersicht über die wichtigsten fachdidaktischen Zeitschriften bilden zudem den Ausgangspunkt zur individuellen Vertiefung der Themen.
