This work attempts to list the scholarly contributions to the study of Gil Vicente produced between 2000 and 2005. The sheer pletora of contribution, both editorial and critical, which appeared in this five-year-period signals an ever growing interest in Gil Vicente. It is fair to say that such rate of publication on an international scale is unprecedented. True, this may have been precipitated, to a certain extent, by the celebration of the fifth centenary of Vicente’s dramatic début, but the same fast pace can be observed before and after 2002.
