The 52nd volume of the interdisciplinary journal contains five papers dealing with rock analyses of marble armrings and mace heads of the Rössen Culture, whose mineral composition could be determined by a non-destructive method, new excavations at the Middle Bronze Age settlement of Corneşti-Cornet in the Banat region, the rare occurrence of several bronze vessels in Early Medieval inhumations, the genesis of the fortification, historical city centre and citadel at Spandau during the Middle Ages, and the Copernicus satellite programmes for the management, protection, and preservation of cultural monuments.
