Lithium-ion-cells show periodic electrode dilation effects during operation e.g. due to lithium intercalation processes. The electrode dilation can be reversible during charge/discharge cycles but also irreversible because of aging processes of the lithium-ion-cell. The impacts of these effects and possible optimization measures were investigated on all relevant scales (electrode-, cell- and module level) in this thesis.weiterlesen
