Antitrinitarische Streitigkeiten
Die tritheistische Phase (1560–1568)
Produktform: Buch / Einband - fest (Hardcover)
The 'Controversia et Confessio‘ edition, which will encompass nine volumes, documents the intra-Protestant controversies that emerged after Luther’s death. It will include the most influential printed contributions to these debates that were central in the development of Protestant confessions and identities. The ninth volume offers selected texts concerning the tritheistic phase of antitrinitarian controversy (1560–1568), including theological treatises of tritheistic authors (Peter Gonesius, Valentino Gentile, Gregory Pawel) as well as reactions of protestant thinkers in German territories (Alexander Alesius, Jakob Schegk, Johann Wigand, Jakob Andreä) and Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (Andreas Volanus, Erasmus Gliczner, Nicolaus Pac). Vol. 2 concerning the adiaphoristic controversy around the so called Leipzig Interim will be published in 2012. Vol. 8 and 1 have already been published in 2008 and 2010.weiterlesen
