The dissertation deals with the question of whether the counselling and guidance tools available at job centres match the requirements of people with a migration background. The author presents a qualitative study on the subject, which demonstrates across all hierarchical levels whether and how job centre employees utilise their decision-making and action allowances for presenting this special clientèle to the job market.
