Auguste Rodin in the Albertinum
Produktform: Buch / Einband - flex.(Paperback)
Auguste Rodin (1840–1917) left his mark on an entire century of sculpture. With a total of 20 works, the Dresden Sculpture Collection had until 1912 created the largest Rodin collection in Germany. Also, he had a strong interest in the then still young medium of photography, which he used as an opportunity to make his works known, as well as for their interpretation. As from 1896, photographs showing Rodin’s works from unusual perspectives and in atmospheric presentations were taken in cooperation with the photographer Eugène Druet. These photographs are also part of the Dresden collection.weiterlesen
