Wanted: Qualified workers for the sector for renewable energies! The proof lies in the growing number of vocational training places and the need for qualification measures and sector-specific courses of study in the sectors for wind energy, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy and electromobility. A standardisation of study content and certifications is desirable in order to cover the need for qualifications in the sector and to simultaneously ensure interconnectability between the education and employment systems. The anthology takes up findings from recent studies on the topic of renewable energies and documents the project "Examination of the impact of the shift in energy policy on professions in the metal and electronics industries" (Untersuchung zu den Auswirkungen der energiepolitischen Wende auf die Berufe der Metall- und Elektroindustrie).
