Qualitative research on education and biography deals with learning and educational processes, individual socialisation conditions as well as institutionalisation and professionalisation processes of (social) pedagogical staff and institutions. In this tradition, the present volume presents empirical studies on the topics of work, family, (social) educational institutions and professionalisation.
