For the professionalisation and thus for quality assurance purposes within adult education the continuous professional development of adult educators is central. This collection includes the edited contributions of the series of online lectures "Häng dich rein!" ("Throw yourself into it!") and of a panel discussion, which Weiterbildung Hessen e.V. organised for employees in adult education institutions. The five lectures shine a light on various important issues for educational providers: the role of networks, new ways of teaching and learning, the professional consultancy within the context of lifelong learning, education controlling as well as target group orientation and marketing.
