It is the religion of blood. The blood of Christ. The blood of the martyrs. The blood of the victims of ecclesiastical arrogance. The Catholic Church has had enormous power for 2000 years and can´t stop misusing it. Jesus was a teacher of wisdom who spoke of the soul and the kingdom of heaven. He did not want to found a church, nor to be declared God, and certainly not to establish a kingdom in this world. But since the Popes efficiently succeeded in doing what Jesus did NOT want, such discussions must simply come to an end. From a historical point of view, the Church does not increase spirituality, but rather destroys it worldwide on a disastrous scale, which has much to do with the current state of our planet. This is something that needs to be addressed, particularly if one is truly committed to the growth of the soul and spirituality.
