Produktform: Buch / Einband - flex.(Paperback)
In a globalised world companies are forced to deal with different cultural backgrounds and mind-sets. Ethical behaviour based on common ethical standards and values becomes more and more important for cooperations between companies in different countries.
This book wants to highlight some of the aspects of these business ethics in an international context. A comparison of different cultural backgrounds is made by looking into ethical standards in India as well as in Germany.
The Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (Duale Hochschule Baden Württemberg – DHBW) has joined hands with the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In early 2015 a group of students of DHBW Stuttgart visited the GTU. During their two-weeks stay each student worked on a topic related to the subject of this book. The resulting papers are now published in this miscellany. The bases of each paper were lectures, company visits and research done in India during the stay. The subjects of the papers, comparing India and Germany, are e.g. Corporate Values and Ethics in India/Germany, Business Ethics and Leadership, Management Ethics in Multinational Companies and others.
