Functional hand disorders are counted among the most common consequences of acquired brain damage. In everyday life, impairments of fine motor skills mainly occur during activities such as gripping, manipulating and transporting objects. This exercise program allows an intensive, home-based training of the patient’s affected hand in order to improve hand function. The exercises presented in this book activate all important structures of the hand; elbow and shoulder joints are involved as well.
