The COVID-19 pandemic had a devastating impact on global destinations in developing and developing countries almost equally across various countries, although the short- and long-term implications vary across geographic regions, and so is the prospects for recovery. This volume showcases research studies from various geographic regions across the world. The volume is divided into three parts, starting with an introductory chapter that will provide a background, introduction and context for the volume. Part I of the volume will contain chapters that explore the impact of COVID-19 on selected international tourist destinations. Part II showcases how various destinations across the world learnt to live and adjusted to the new normal under COVID-19 conditions.  The 3rd part of the Volume is a compilation of chapters that deals with how various destinations are attempting to recover from the shocks of the COVID-19 pandemic.
