The rapid growth in urbanization is leading to constantly growing metropolitan regions with overcrowded traffic routes, limited building space, and an increasingly difficult supply situation. Policymakers and citizens are confronted with the challenge of densely populated areas hindering the basic goals of mobility, freedom, self-determination, security, prosperity, communication.
