Using the example of pedagogical, medical and social services that are rendered with the help of animals, this dissertation will analyse procedural processes in the development of professional fields. The author will determine how clearly defined professional profiles are changed or professionalised by social or biographical factors. The professionalisation processes will be reconstructed using interviews with providers of animal-supported services. A secondary analysis from a user perspective will complete the picture. Finally, the author will draft the development of an interactionistic professional theory and suggest practical recommendations for action. Summarising the different fields of activity under the umbrella term "animal-supported services" can accelerate the development of a new professional profile that is integrated into the public vocational training system.weiterlesen
