Die Rolle von Knochenpartikeln für die Verankerung zementfreier Endoprothesen
Produktform: Buch / Einband - flex.(Paperback)
When using a primary endoprosthesis, older patients as well as patients of working age benefit from a broadening of the indications for cementless fixation. High primary stability of the implant is a prerequisite for successful osseointegration and achievement of secondary stability. In this work, it was shown that densification of the periprosthetic bone with bone particles increases the static friction coefficient and thus the primary stability of the bone-implant interface. The particles can be autologously obtained from resected bone during surgery. The use of a bone mill and the adjustment of the grinding degree to the individual microstructure of the bone further increases the primary stability.weiterlesen
