The object of any kind of transfer determines the dynamics of a process that leads to transformation. Therefore the validity and applicability of existing theoretical and methodological tools must be questioned constantly. Cultural transfer can be seen as a polydirectional and translational process and the challenges arising from this will be examined with regard to Spanish-speaking cultures.
