Experimental Investigations and Numerical Simulations of Lamellar Cu-Ag Composites
Micro-Macro Transactions Vol. 16
Produktform: Buch
The microstructure and texture of a near-eutectic Cu-63wt%Ag composite are investigated in the form of rods, which are produced by die casting. The rods are cold drawn to diameters of d1 = 12.42 mm and d2 = 6.73 mm. Cold drawn materials (d1, d2) are investigated, and the effects of the microstructure on the properties of the composite are studied in terms of its stress-strain behavior and texture measurements of the microstructure. The investigation is carried out using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) along with electron backscattered diffraction (EBSD), X-ray diffraction measurements (XRD), and compression testing.weiterlesen
