In the course of their education many young people of the "Third Generation East Germany" moved away from their hometowns and towards the West. Can they imagine returning home? Against the backdrop of the expected shortage of skilled labourers in particular in the new states the authors investigated the professional and private desires of the "Third Generation East Germany".
