Even after almost 30 years of long-term care insurance and long-term care reforms, it has only been possible in some areas to build up a qualitatively convincing care offer for people in need of care, which is also accepted by them. The question is therefore whether the existing offers (including nursing homes and nursing services) correspond at all to the expectations and wishes of people in need of care? The answer to be explained is that many have a desire for "family" care, which can usually not be fulfilled by the established care offers.
