This book describes the development of the Faculty of Agricultural and Nutritional Sciences at Kiel University from its origins to the present day. It shows the changes in the structure of the institutes and research as well as the path from the former agriculture degree programme to today's Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in agricultural and nutritional sciences. From the phase of food security after the Second World War to the current networked fields of research, agricultural economics, nutrition, crop, livestock and environmental sciences have changed greatly over the past 75 years.
