The artist started this still progressing series in mid-2019. A sort of imaginary multiverse of marine, terrestrial and space micro-universes express the constant searching for our place in the world, a psichological, philosophical and, above all, spiritual individuation process which clearly refers to C.G. Jung. The technique itself has much to do with this search. It consciously combines willingness and randomness or fate by directly applying lino-paint inks, oil and/or acrylic on methacrilate, polystyrene or glass, only deciding (willingness) the arrangement of the spots, the pigments, the degree of dilution, the higher or lower amount of solvent... leaving the further development of “landscapes” to gravity and pressure applied (randomness/fate). To a certain extent, it’s a metaphor of life, a journey of initiation towards the re-encounter with ourselves, a subject that had already been addressed by the artist in the series Lost Labyrinths (2010-2012).weiterlesen
