In 2012 the first Blythe doll moved in with Gina Schlote: the beginning of a wonderful friendship. Gina was particularly impressed by the unique OOAK versions of the dolls. Curiosity quickly became the desire to carve and paint a unique face. This is how # 1 of Ginas.Doll.Art came about. Because the feedback was very encouraging, soon after # 2 was tackled. Fun turned into passion, and by 2020 more than 100 individual dolls and faces have been created in Ginas artist workshop. Not only Blythe dolls, but also Pullip, Icy and Jecci Five dolls got a new, unique face, often with artistically painted eyelids, hand-painted new eyes, an artistic decoration on the back plate or an individually painted pendant. This book gives a little insight into the artist workshop of Ginas.Doll.Art and introduces the first 101 dolls and faces. Have fun browsing and viewing!weiterlesen
