When the author came across an old toy car with „Made in Austria“ and „Igri“ inscription on the base plate, he began to ask himself: „Who is Igri, and what else is there?“ Unknown toy car moulds awakened the exploratory spirit to track down more early Austro Minis. After four decades, when the collection had grown into a unique collection worldwide, the idea arose to document the history of the finds in more detail.
