Any knowledge of Islam in Germany often gets as far as the entrance to the mosque and then no further, and consequently there are many unanswered questions about Islam. It is the aim of this volume to put across and make visible the diversity of moslem community work. The contributions address different questions and take different approaches, revealing the dominant concepts of Imams and of moslem women in Germany in a new light.
