The volume introduces 55 case studies (critical incidents - CIs) from the public service sector. These deal with inter-cultural intersection situations in labour and communal administration, creative arts and law enforcement. The authors describe how these case studies are processed and implemented for training and further education. Additionally, a solution suggestion is presented for each of the cases. The study and workbook fills a gap and is a fountain of information for anyone wanting to teach or learn about inter-cultural competence in the German immigrant society.
