I was born in 1957 in Redwood City, California and moved to Switzerland in 1990. On my arrival in Switzerland I worked as a Chef in Hotels and Restaurants for most of the time I have lived here and only recently began to concentrate on my artistic talents which I have always been aware of. I have not been schooled in any art form. And yet I can create works which many people have found to be beautiful, interesting, brilliant and desired. What I create is simply what I see within my mind and which my hands, dipping through the palette of colors at my side, project onto the canvas. I love to use a lot of colors. If I were to say who has influenced my style I would have to say first off that Van Gogh, Seurat, and Matisse are on the top of the list followed by many of the Fauves as well as Turner, Klimt and even Hundertwasser.
