By their very nature, this data is inherently incomplete, uncertain, complex, distributed in different resources, and varying in degree and depth of structure. This thesis uses Cultural Analytics and Semantic Web to develop the Demoscene, an intangible digital cultural heritage, as a source of knowledge for the Digital Humanities. This contains a concept for the curation of distributed Web-based collections and supports the documentation, modelling and mediation of born-digital cultural assets.
