Pamphlet 8 is the product of a lecture series on 'Abused Landscapes' (held in May 2004) at Prof. Christophe Girot’s Chair of Landscape Architecture at the ETH in Zurich. It investigates the development of contemporary landscapes as products of political conflicts and econ omic hegemonies.
