According to current issues in neurosciences as well as in the Arts research confirms that there are no basic differences concerning aesthetic perception. This is due to the fact that the human brain is functionally structured in a surprisingly simple homogenous way. The gulf between language as the media of cognition versus the plastic arts as the inferior media of sensual pleasure thus finally needs to be bridged. This paper is meant to provide the groundworks for models of visual education
as a means of evading the phenomenon of visual analphabetism as a consequence of the predominance of verbal education in our time.weiterlesen
