About this series: Indo-European studies have to take care of an abundant treasure of interesting texts in various languages, pertaining to different cultural epochs and areas. The edition of the “Texts of the Indo-Europeans” is intended to make these texts accessible for all scholars interested in the primary sources. Vol. 1: Latin reader Latin is still a crucial language for all scholars of diachronic or synchronic linguistics. But more and more students have to learn Latin in a crowded crash-course at the university, and so there is a certain need for anthologies which enable students to intensify and deepen their grammatical knowledges and at the same time inform them about the history of Latin literature.
