The textbook is characterized by a design-oriented didactic concept that comprises a productive and a receptive component. Students acquire additional competences within the productive component by means of writing, declamation and design processes. The receptive component contains various possibilities to use the resulting action products such as manuscripts or MP4 films. Final film contributions should be made available as barrier-free as possible, for example via a learning management system, in a virtual learning environment or via a YouTube channel. The textbook argues that pupils* are more motivated in this way and benefit in their cognitive development or language competence development. The students' media competence development is understood as an integral part of the professional competence development.
