Home adult education centres rank among the most important education providers - and yet they are hardly known. Their work and concept is only rarely mentioned in academic discourse about adult education. The study explores the special pedagogic profile, educational concept and societal benefit of home adult education centres. It furthermore illustrates future challenges and development perspectives.
