This study outlines the history of the Nour family: It is the story of a construction worker and his wife who emigrated from Morocco to start a new life in France. Here they raise their eight children, six boys and two girls. While their eldest daughter is studying law, one of the sons is in prison for four years, three other sons become workers. Their story can be seen as representative of a large number of families facing similar difficulties due to the precarious situation.
