The flow of images in the book Between Landing and Take-Off takes viewers on a journey without a physical or timed destination. Through their literal interplay and beyond any linear narrative, Lycien-David Cséry‘s photo- graphs develop a subjective illustration of his experiences between 2013 and 2020. His observations however do not disembogue as a private di- ary but rather resemble the study of momentary lucidity within states of transition. The dominant motif of the photographs is the frame between arrival and departure.
