The international scientific seminar Managing and Developing Human Resources 2015 has been organized as one of the events of Faculty of Business Management, University of Economics in Bratislava on the occasion of 75th anniversary of the university establishment. The fundamental pillar of the event is the enhancement of cooperation of Academia and Business practice in the field of Human Resources Management. Therefore the seminar in 2015 has been given subtitle The Academic Bridge to HRM practice focused on main thematic fields of the seminar: • Contemporary challenges to Human Resources Management, • Status of HR departments and roles of HR leaders in organizations nowadays, • Expectations on HR specialists in the context of tendencies in HRM development. The seminar had been organized with the cooperation of the Cranfield Network on Human Resources Management (CRANET). CRANET members were the core of invited participants of the seminar, delivering major source of scientific knowledge leaning on individual as well as common research results. The seminar has been hosting speakers from business practice, delivering contemporary issues of practical HRM as well as status on the best practice. There were present respected authorities of universities and business schools in Slovakia. Aims of the seminar were to create platform for presentation of the research results of teams joined in CRANET, enable presentation of empirical knowledge of HR leaders of Slovak enterprises, seeking new topics to projects for research and common fields, enhancement the cooperation between academic soil and business, and boost platform for new bonds to enhance institutional as well as personal further cooperation and delivery of the speakers’ book and the book of proceedings gathering contemporary research outputs of publishing participants. The seminar has been organized within the Scientific Project VEGA 1/0842/13 Flexibility of the workforce as the stability of employees and organization in the context of Lisabon Strategy 2020 and strategy of Europe 2020.weiterlesen
