My passion as an artist is ignited by the spiritual, emotional and psychological connections that exist between human beings, the natural environment and the universe. I believe the universe is made up of interdependent systems connecting the natural environment and the human spirit , and as universal beings we are connected to the universe and its energy. We inhabit this universe for a moment in time. The present moment can be understood through contemplating finite points or infinite abstract perspectives. As my creative thought processes evolve, they challenge my beliefs, and allow new ideas to take shape and form. As an artist, I examine how we as universal beings inhabit the present and what we think and feel about it. I look in to the past, reflect and contemplate.
