This book is about the encounters of Colombian drug smugglers and the Colombian Navy, mostly in the open sea, but also on the coast. It is about the War on Drugs, but not about the policies or economies, but on the technologies. This book is about narcosubmarines and patrol boats. It is about the knowledge required to transport drugs and the knowledge required to stop the illicit flows. In the first chapter, the author presents the arguments towards an understanding of technological innovation in antagonist contexts.  The second chapter is devoted to the study of the artefacts employed by drug smugglers and is focused on the narcosubmarines. The third chapter presents the practices of the Colombian Navy to catch the drug smugglers.
