Polymer-Based Hybrid Electrolytes for All-Solid-State Lithium-Sulfur Batteries
Produktform: Buch / Einband - flex.(Paperback)
This dissertation focuses on the development of all-solid-state lithium-sulfur batteries (ASSLSBs), one of the next-generation battery technologies, outshining current lithium-ion batteries in terms of energy density and safety. The shift towards ASSLSBs is critical as they promise to meet the growing demands for more efficient and safer energy storage solutions. One of the defining features of ASSLSBs is their use of solid electrolytes, which are crucial for enhancing battery performance. This research focuses on improving the ionic conductivity of solid electrolytes based on a cross-linked polymer with ceramic filler particles. This approach significantly enhances ionic conductivity at room temperature, overcoming a major limitation faced by conventional polymer-based electrolytes. The result of this dissertation suggests a more efficient, safe, and cost-effective battery technology that stands as a substantial improvement over existing solutions.weiterlesen
