Technical requirements for renovation plasters are specified in the WTA guideline "Renovation mortar systems". Systems of renovation mortars are generally composed of a splatter dash plaster, sometimes a base plaster, the actual renovation plaster, and a top layer or a coat of paint. These materials have to be tuned with respect to each another. Test methods and measurements for quality assurance are described and details of the processing are explained.
