We are convinced, that spirituality is a powerful but often neglected dimension in psychotherapy. Basic assumptions and beliefs about the nature of human existence and change derived from spirituality will be transferred into the domain of clinical psychotherapy. Our integrative approach borrows from positive psychology and resource oriented systemic and humanistic models. We suggest that rituals are especially useful because they create a structured space for change. Not unlike a systemic therapist, who is looking for available resources one can mobilize and for other opportunities. Thematically these rituals address a wide range of symptoms and circumstances: fear of life transitions, shame, anxiety, ambivalence, psychosomatic complaints, loss, and (more specifically for couples) relationship maintenance, ambivalence, divorce, fear of intimacy and closeness, lack of attraction. weiterlesen
