Scientific Reports 2008-2010 Institute of Measurement and Automatic Control

Produktform: Buch / Einband - fest (Hardcover)

Since 1996 the Institute of Measurement & Automatic Control addresses a wide variety of applications within the area of optical technology and modern technical acoustics. Our research projects emphasise on experimental work based on state of the art systems theory and backed by a dozen of experimental laboratories of all together around 500 square meters. Measurement and/or Automatic Control very often serve as an interface between different scientific and engineering disciplines. Hence the projects carried out demand interdisciplinary teams as well. Our accentuated international group of staff people consist of physicists, mathematicians and engineering scientists with a broad variety of specializations. Beyond that, our laboratories offer graduate students to work with highly sophisticated technical equipment and get in touch with experimental setups of our most current research projects. Driven by the constant endeavour of being part of those who shape the front of the edge of technology of our scientific community, it is also one of our main goals to qualify scientists and engineering scientists being capable to expeditiously work in a high-tech industrial environment after having obtained their doctoral degree. The following brochure is supposed to give you some idea of and insight in our research work of the last couple of years. It is a collection of scientific papers, reports and conference contributions. We thank all institutions and all our industrial partners funding our research work, in particular the German Research Foundation (DFG), the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations (AIF), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the European Union (EU) and the state of Lower Saxony.weiterlesen
