Simulation der Schwingfestigkeit von Elastomerbauteilen

In this work a method for predicting the fatigue strength of multi-axial loaded elastomer components is developed. The method is based on the local collective SN curves concept, which essentially compares local stresses with material-specific strength values. The elastomer specific nonlinear characteristics are taken into account based on measurements. On the one hand this affects the selection of suitable material models to simulate deformations and resulting local stresses. On the other hand fatigue strength parameters are defined, determined and prepared for the fatigue simulation. Finally, investigations on engine and chassis mounts are shown as an application and verification of the simulation method.
